1940s Deep Mauve Liquid Satin Dress

Stunning 40s era deep mauve/lilac liquid satin dress in great vintage condition. Dress has an interesting fade, with the deepest mauve/lilac tones concentrated towards the center, and warmer orange undertones around the shoulders and sides of skirt. The front of the dress has a beautiful attached cinch sash that hooks in the back, and adds an illusion of depth and movement in the front; back of dress has a separate "cape" of added fabric for even more magic! The dress also has pads in the shoulders for added form. Very easy to slip on and off by the zipper on the left side along with the one that runs down the back. Only defects are some faint spots and a few pinholes on the front as well as a few places on the back; difficult to notice in all the other detail.
